Train up a child in the way he should go;
even when he is old he will not depart from it. (Pr 22:6)
Sunday Children's Worship
During our Sunday services we provide a safe, and fun environment for children to learn about Jesus! We provide care for children, infants-kindergarten age, during our 10:45 am worship hour. Children 1st grade and up are encouraged to worship with their parents each Sunday.
Family worship sunday
To teach children how, why and what worship is, we have adopted "Family Worship Sunday." This is the last Sunday of every month during morning worship. On this Sunday children from birth to 5th grade participate in corporate worship with their parents. We encourage all children to participate in our children's small group, where they will learn more about the sermon they have heard and how to apply it to their lives.
We understand that young children may need a break from sitting in worship. We have created quiet activities & game bags that can be used during worship. These are hanging in the foyer. We also created a space in the back of the sanctuary for children to be able to work on a quiet craft, while parents can still participate in corporate worship. We encourage parents to use this area as needed. Since we do not have authorized volunteers upstairs, we ask for parents and children to not go upstairs on Family Worship Sundays.
We have a quick and easy check-in process for our children's Sunday Morning Children's Ministry. The check in desk opens up 15 minutes before our worship service begins. The check-in desk is located right inside the main sanctuary next to the stairs. Any of our greeters would be happy to assist you with finding the check-in desk.

Children's Wednesday Night Small Group
At Cornerstone we take the safety and security of your children very seriously. It is our desire to protect them, and provide a safe learning environment for them during worship services! To this end, Cornerstone requires all of its children and youth team members to submit to a criminal background check at a federal, state, and local level, and they must complete a sexual abuse awareness and prevention training before being allowed to teach at our church; they must be re-certified every two years. We require that every class be taught by at least two approved adult workers who are unrelated to one another, and each child is checked into our children's ministry security system. The parent and child each receive a matching sticker to ensure that no child is released to someone who does not have authorization to pick them up. Again, our highest priority is to ensure that every child who visits Cornerstone may learn about Christ in a loving and safe environment.
