Partners

Cornerstone partners internationally with Stacie and Sergio Silva, missionaries in Brazil, supporting them both financially and prayerfully. We frequently send mission teams down to help with projects and in whatever ways are needed. In 2014 the Silvas started Viva Hope Mission in one of the ten most violent cities in Brazil, sharing Jesus as their Living Hope, and witnessing to hundreds of children and their families. Our goal in working with Meridzo Ministries right here in Kentucky is to bless the missionaries and workers, to lighten their load and uplift them in any way that we can. We provide food boxes, gift baskets, food pantry supplies, and other needed supplies throughout the year. Each summer Cornerstone takes a mission team for a week of helping with repair work, maintenance, painting, cleaning and any other projects needed.

At Cornerstone, we have found that our local community has a large need within the homeless population. We work alongside Jessamine County Homeless Coalition to cook, serve, and deliver meals, donate funds, help with fundraisers, volunteer for events, and more as needed throughout the year! Our small groups have an amazing relationship with JCHC, which allows us to be more hands on and meet immediate needs for the homeless coalition.

20Schemes is a church planting organization begun by Niddrie Community Church in Edinburgh, Scotland. 20Schemes does not focus on the well-to-do neighborhoods, rather they purposefully go to some of the hardest places economically and socially in the city to bring the gospel and bible preaching churches to places without any gospel church presence at all. Some places have not had a gospel church in more than two decades. Cornerstone is looking forward to partnering together in planting and establishing churches.
